True Love Waits (nonexistence)

Everyone wants to believe that true love exists, that someone can love you and you can love someone unconditionally. In truth there is no such thing, only the quest is real. People don't love other people, they love the idea or the feeling they have near that person. They drench each others bodies for their own sake, is that true love? The magic of the moment our eyes cross, the increase rate of our pulses, the tingly hands while we caress...

I'll drown my believes
To have you be in peace

The idea of sacrifice, without being a burden... For someone's sake...

I'll dress up like your niece
To wash your swollen feet

The idea of care, not for the sake of having a personal nurse or doctor.
“the difference between young and old when people start to dress sensible and act their age. this person is offering not to do that to keep the other. alles klarr?" by thom york

Just... don't leave
don't leave

The idea of losing, the distance is not important, losing is harder and different.

I'm not living
I'm just killing time

The idea of trending time, wasted, fruitless...

Your tiny hands
Your crazy kitten smile

The details are what makes you remember...

Just... don't leave
Don't leave

And true love waits
In haunted attics

Where you keep your long lost love memories...

And true love lives
On lollipops and crisps

What's simple is beautiful

Just... don't leave
Don't leave

does it not?
what is love, anyway ?
the art of making others suffer for us (or, at least, suffer for our indecision, stupidity and selfish) ???

Of course it does! True love doesn't apply only to sexual relationships. A friendship can live off true love, the love of a mother for her son and vice-versa... Everyone of us has experienced a little of true love, sometimes it's right in front of us. Of course you need to love yourself, only then you'll be ready and even then you'll never know if it really is true love. But just breathing it's aroma makes you believe it can be true... Hence, yes true love exists, have I lived it? Yes and from time to time I find someone else to add to my true love colection =)
"True love lives in lollipops", in simple things that make us shine brighter... In the everyday talk that we conjurate just for the sake of talking...

P.S.: The post was meant to be provocative, because the song is in the same tone and I love the song :)
